Walking Pleasant Valley — Dimmeydale to Greenwood The neighborhood of Dimmeydale was named after the Dimmey family, owners of a large dairy farm that was once located there. William H. Dimmey (1850–1945) resided with his wife Mary in their home that still stands at 15 Pleasant Drive. This photo shows Dairyman Joseph Dimmey at Wheeling’s Centre market. |
