Walking Pleasant Valley — The Early Years Three-Mile Ice Company owner Conrad Seibert and his sons are listed in the 1884 Wheeling City Directory as “ice dealers, with offices on Market Street and in their Pleasant Valley residence 3 Miles East.” This 1879 invoice is for the purhase of ice, “Sold and delivered at the instance and order of the janitor of the State House.” |
