BaBS, or Build a BLISS System (Bioregenerative LIfe-Support System), is a complex interactive simulation that allows students to design the major systems that keep astronauts alive in their lunar base. Students plant, grow, and harvest food; determine crew conditions, food, water and air consumption; and manage recycling of waste materials. As the simulation runs, students receive feedback on the status of their systems and the health of their crew.
